Sugaring is a niche method of hair removal becoming much more in demand for people with sensitivities, including those with skin conditions like rosacea, eczema, and varicose veins who should not undergo waxing. However, true sugaring experts are still not easy to find.

Sugaring began hundreds of years ago in Egypt. Deodorants and soaps were not yet available, but people found that they could stay fresher and cleaner without underarm and pubic hair. So the innovative Egyptians developed a sugar paste to remove the hair, and consequently the oldest most natural form of hair removal was born. The paste is removed in the direction of the hair growth, making this method much more gentle than waxing.

In this two-day class, you learn how to sugar all body parts including arms, legs, underarm, bikini, eyebrows, lips, chin and face. You gain an advanced understanding of the theory behind sugaring and practice under expert supervision, allowing you to stand out among the imposters. Our course curriculum is designed in a way that the student can use the learned technique with the product of their choosing. In addition to technique, all of IdE’s courses include lessons on safety and sanitation, marketing, consulting, client communication and management, pricing for profit, and client retention for that particular subject.

The Massachusetts State Board of Cosmetology approves all courses. Upon completion of a course, a certificate will be provided to the student, and a report will be forwarded to the State Board.
