A paraffin body treatment is the process of properly applying melted paraffin to the skin, allowing it to solidify, and then removing it. The wax traps heat, absorbs toxins, and induces relaxation. This treatment promotes healthy muscles and joints, and it is an excellent way to soften, soothe, and seal the skin for long-lasting protection.

In this hands-on class you learn the paraffin application technique using a brush and how to use the treatment as a creative add-on to other services. Client assessments are discussed, and a practice session ensures your complete understanding of the treatment.

IdE is a procedure and technique based educational facility and does not endorse any particular product. Our course curriculum is designed in a way that the student can use the learned technique with the product of their choosing. In addition to technique, all of IdE’s courses include lessons on safety and sanitation, marketing, consulting, client communication and management, pricing for profit, and client retention for that particular subject.

The Massachusetts State Board of Cosmetology approves all courses. Upon completion of a course, a certificate will be provided to the student, and a report will be forwarded to the State Board.
