This course teaches you how to offer these treatments without the need for a wet room or Vichy shower and eliminate the high costs that go along with them.

Body polishing is a technique used to exfoliate the entire body using any number of materials, such as sugar or salt, and is often followed by a body wrap. Body wraps, using seaweed or mud, are detoxifying treatments that help rid the body of toxins through metabolic stimulation. These hydrating treatments are geared toward softening and revitalizing the skin.

With this course you learn the techniques that allow you to add on these luxurious services to your menu without the need for a wet room or Vichy shower. You familiarize yourself with different materials used for these treatments, how to assess the best solution for your client, and the most effective application methods.

IdE is a procedure and technique based educational facility and does not endorse any particular product. Our course curriculum is designed in a way that the student can use the learned technique with the product of their choosing. In addition to technique, all of IdE’s courses include lessons on safety and sanitation, marketing, consulting, client communication and management, pricing for profit, and client retention for that particular subject.

The Massachusetts State Board of Cosmetology approves all courses. Upon completion of a course, a certificate will be provided to the student, and a report will be forwarded to the State Board .
