Reflexology is the physical act of applying pressure to the feet and hands with specific thumb, finger and hand techniques. It is based on a system of zones and reflex areas that reflect an image of the body on the feet and hands with a premise that such work effects a physical change to the body.

In this 4-day class you will learn the reflexes in the feet and their corresponding organs. You will gain knowledge of the meridians and learn a technique specifically geared towards a relaxing basic reflexology treatment to add to your beauty service. You will gain an understanding of how and why this treatment is so effective.

IdE is a procedure and technique based educational facility and does not endorse any particular product. Our course curriculum is designed in a way that the student can use the learned technique with the product of their choosing. In addition to technique, all of IdE’s courses include lessons on safety and sanitation, marketing, consulting, client communication and management, pricing for profit, and client retention for that particular subject.

The Massachusetts State Board of Cosmetology approves all courses. Upon completion of a course, a certificate will be provided to the student, and a report will be forwarded to the State Board.
